Eva Farmer

As Secretary of State, Eva Farmer manages the North Carolina Student Legislature's records. The Secretary of State is accountable for all documentation of organizational proceedings, member records, delegation charters, and legislative records. They are also responsible for compiling the monthly Interim Conference dockets as well as the annual legislative compendium, which anthologizes the bills, resolutions, and primary decisions made throughout the legislative year. This position protects NCSL's institutional integrity while building trust and communication between chartered delegations. 

Eva Farmer is a senior at Elon University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice Studies, Political Science, and Human Service Studies. She is employed on campus by the Elon ID Card Services and works as a Peer Educator helping teach the freshman introductory class. Eva is also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national coeducational service fraternity, where she volunteers for local cultural and arts events as well as Alamance animal services. Her passion for the humanities has allowed her to spearhead the creation of an inclusive cookbook for those in/around Alamance county with unstable housing. Eva hopes to continue assist those less fortunate in the future. She aspires to attend law school and aid the people of North Carolina through more pro bono work and collaborating with the community to better us all.
